Dimitra Theodossiou - soprano
The huge critical acclaim she earned with the role of Odabella in Verdi’s
Attila
at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and
the Teatro Regio in Parma, was the opener to an extraordinary career that has
lead her to the major stages of the world: the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the
Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Arena in Verona, the Opéra in Monte Carlo, the
Zurich Opera House, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Teatro Municipal in
Santiago, Chile, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in
Brussels, the Teatro Municipal de São Paulo in Brazil, to name a few. She
collaborated with conductors such as Muti, Abbado, Gelmetti, Elder, Viotti,
Gergiev, Chailly, Luisi, Campanella, Jurowski, and with stage directors such as:
Hugo De Ana, Pierluigi Pizzi and Igor Mitoraj.

Dimitra Theodossiou established herself as a major international interpreter of
Bel Canto and verdian repertoire and last summer was awarded by the prestigious
Oscar della Lirica in Torre del Lago.
